Our goal is to offer crossover education for people in both industries that want to learn more about the gear they own that will improve their skills. PSD stands for Photograph, Share and Discover and that is exactly what this event plans to offer to those who attend. An opportunity to get behind the lens of your camera and create amazing images, sit in with amazing instructors while they share with you all of the information you need to grow and expand your business and discover new things about the photo and video industry that you may not have even knew existed.

We are committed to creating a balanced hands-on educational experience for the professional photographer and videographer. The goal of The PSD Experience is to create an environment which allows for an extreme hands-on photographic experience with highly qualified professional instructors. All attendees will be given adequate time to not only capture photos and DSLR video of models where they will learn posing and lighting techniques in and out of studio environments, but also to participate in a small group setting with instructors that will teach them about marketing, pricing, printing, Photoshop, video editing, album design and many other aspects of business.

The event is designed to have a free flowing feel so that photographers and videographers can bounce from one station to another learning many different techniques and styles and also to help target their specific needs. The small groups will foster open communication for those who want to learn and share. The PSD Experience was created with the attendees' needs in mind and providing them with the skills and knowledge they seek to excel in their business.

The PSD Experience, Locations, Shooting Stations & More!
The venue and locations for the PSD Experience in April 2011 are going to be amazing. In addition to the 8 complete shooting stations to shoot and learn in we have some great locations lined up.
To start we have a host hotel in the Norfolk Waterside Marriott that has ignored no details when it comes to the lavish display that will become the background for the event. From the Grand Staircase at the entrance and piano bar to the amazing hallways and passage and the pool on the 6th floor with the Pagoda deck overlooking the Harbor there are spots galore just with in the walls of the hotel. But we decided to treat the attendees with awesome offsite locations all within a short walk of the hotel.
We have arranged time for us to have exclusive use of the USS Wisconsin Navy Battleship on one of the days of the event and also have access to the Japanese Gardens with the life size Pagoda. Please feel free to check out the gallery and enjoy a virtual tour of the fantastic shooting locations in and around the hotel that the PSD Experience will be taking advantage of.
